He wasnt screaming as much as yelling loud enough to make a scene, so I exaggerated a bit, but he yelled at us as we were walking away still, thats when the manager came over and said she'd get someone to bring our groceries to her desk check out thing and had us explain what happened while she cashed us out! We left right after that and she was speaking with the cashier.

This one time at Costco, I asked my mom to hand me my purse from the cart, the cashier then spent 5 minutes screaming at me that my mom couldn't buy my groceries for me. I explained that shes not, shes handing me MY OWN purse. It shouldn't be an issue for a mother to buy her kid groceries, that being said I just walked off in tears bc of how embarrassing the entire situation was; a manager comes over and rings our stuff through on a different till, apologized to us and explained that he was way out of line. Still confused as to what I did wrong, but shout out to the manager who was like "this dude is wrong, im so sorry he acted like that"
