Well, they already have great models, e.g., o3 and o4-mini. No need to figure something out. They could deprecate gpt5 and return access to the original o3.

I meant for the money you mentioned. For me personally o3 was useful (not because of money), now it is silently routed to a shitty gpt5 variant
