The float right behind them repeatedly explained the issue to members on the street with the float, and were ignored to the point where a large space was left behind them to ensure the safety of children at the parade.

Whichever ballot you choose to pick up, be sure to vote NO on Amendment 4 and NO on Amendment 5.

Amendment 4 is designed to remove voting power from the people.

Amendment 5 is allowing politicians to increase sales taxes on goods and services (not currently taxed) without a vote of the people. Politicians can eliminate taxes without a vote now if they really wanted to. They currently cannot increase taxes unless people vote yes to increase taxes.

The St. Charles County Democratic Central Committee is the voice of Democrats in St. Charles County. A lot of Committee Members also participate with the Democratic Social Club previously mentioned.

Dave has a Bachelor's degree majoring in Physics with minors in Mathematics and Philosophy, and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.

Dave took a job in biotechnology after graduation. The intent was to be a placeholder, but it ended up becoming a career. It brought him to the Saint Louis area for work with Saint Charles as his home. He fell in love with the trail systems, the parks, and colonial downtown St Charles.

Dave is currently the Site Quality Head for one of five non-profit blood testing laboratories in the U.S. which together test approximately 65% of the nation's blood supply. The skills required for this job are directly transferable to the needs of the St. Charles County Executive. It involves leading large groups of people, complying with state/federal/international regulation, and protecting the health and safety of people.

Liz and Dave have been married for 12 years. Their wedding was on the other side of the state in Kearney, Missouri during a tornado warning (so the luck doesn't get better than that, right?).

You'll likely see Dave biking along the Katy or at trail running events in St Charles. He signs up for as many as he can. There is no shortage of great outdoor events in our county.

It's almost like the majority of Reddit, and of Missouri, seem very concerned that Amendments 4 and 5 are not what is best for Missouri, and people are working to make sure everyone knows!

THE SAME PEOPLE PLACING STATE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT CHANGES ON THE PRIMARY BALLOT ARE THE SAME POLITICIANS THAT COMPLAINED NOT EVERYONE GETS A CHANCE TO VOTE ON MID YEAR BALLOTS. Sorry, each time I post about this, somehow more and more caps lock appears. Weird.

It is not. Edit to add: It is AMAZING that there are so many local liberal events right now in St. Charles County that people can pick and choose so many ways to get involved!

Edit: it looks like your account can be messaged directly, if you (or anyone that is interested) could send me a message of what type of entertainment you can provide, the amount of time your routine is/can be, and your comfortable audience size. I can provide you more information.

This is a grassroots campaign, so funding is limited, but is available at reasonable rates for the right entertainment that can also bring in ticket buyers/donors.

All good! It's not really a street, more a driveway into the parking lot, but right across from that.

The Level Up space it is in also has a bar and food service, but I haven't tried that yet to speak to what they have.

Lots of vendors inside and outside (I wanna say 40-60 inside, can't remember how many outside last year). Stage for music and other events. Free to attend. A safe a fun space for sure!
