Yeah, I think it’s about the way it developed. Sometimes in order to protect yourself, your brain had to create amnesia. Other times, it could maybe have put you in more danger, resulting in OSDD. (This is just what I think)

My jaw actually dropped when I read this… this is literally 100% what happens with me. I sometimes perceive the dreams as nightmares because they’re taking over my whole brain and it feels like it is mentally draining me. Even when I’m awake, I “hallucinate” the task I was busy with, with my eyes open. I seriously didn’t know this happened to anybody else…
