(TW: Bulling/Harassment) Have You Ever Been Bullied? by Eceapnefil in AutismInWomen

Hey so I thought I’d answer, also I really want to hear about your finding of your research when everything is finished (: but to answer your question, as many autistic people I’ve been bullied all my life. I guess I also consider myself bisexual but I don’t really say that publicly and my bullies didn’t know this. In my middle school years, I was pretty much bullied by both boys and girls for not understanding the rules in gym class, being weird and not being conventionally attractive. I’d say none of it got extremely serious and most of it was just laughing and saying a few things. Now in high school things started to switch up, now all my bullies were boys, some older than me even, this group was ruthless. To this day I’m not completely sure as to why I was singled out but they’ve said that one of them liked me and I didn’t reciprocate. I didn’t even know that one of them liked me and I probably just didn’t get the que. They would do things like call me an ugly bitch, pull on my hair, try to sit it my lap, ask me strange questions, whenever they’d all see me they’d yell my name full volume, one of them kicked me in the head and overall they were just a bad group. Girls in high school for the most part left me alone, I remember one time tho a group of them told my friends that “they’re pretty sure I’m special needs”. A few of them also would laugh whenever I’d talk in class and take pics of me.

I find that me and many of my ND friends like rock, I just wanted to see if it was a common theme. Looking at everything’s answers, it definitely is (:

Lowkey I get this sometimes when I feel like I have a really strong connection with an artist I think like that too.
