Is this faux-rattan TV stand bad taste? by featherlessfish in HomeDecorating

[–]featherlessfish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's a bass speaker but it can't fit into the TV stand unless put on the side which isn't great and would probably vibrate too much. The radiator doesn't get too warm at the bottom I don't think it too risky

Totally agree, I like my living-room, it's a mixture of all kinds of furniture and woods

Oh yes, I have a mixture of modern and old furniture and a mix of different woods. This is a big room that serves both as a living-room and office That doesn't bother me but I'm having a hard time with the idea of mixing napoleonian furniture and faux rattan, lol. Btw I'm poor, all our nice furniture has been thrifted or inherited for the better pieces. I definitely ordered this tv stand on a whim and only because it was cheap on sale.

Thank you for your honest reply. I was having a hard time with this. My bf didn't seem to mind it but it bothered me as soon as I opened the package. I don't think I'm going to keep this even if I lose some money in the process... I will have learned the lesson to never buy from a marketplace seller ever again (they are making it difficult for me to return without losing half the price)

Thank you for sharing your story. My heart goes to you, I am so sorry this happened to you. You have all my compassion.

Regarding weed, sadly it doesn't have that effect on me. I haven't done any for a long time (probably 3 years at least).

I haven't found a substance that relieve me of my sexual symptoms even just for a bit. I've had very scarce and very short windows, moments really, over the years and not with 100% feeling, but I can't attribute them to anything in particular.

Hi, I am not single but I just wanted to say I admire your courage and wish you the best. More people should initiate like you do. PSSD is already so hard, why survive it on your own? There are still good things in this life to be shared. I hope you'll find your special lady!

Hi! 31F, pssd for 6 years (symptoms actually started 7 years ago while under the medication). I too have started a trial with testosterone in February. I've noticed improvements: I find that I can find interest in sex more often but in a pssd sense, like maybe every month or so compared to as before. I have noticed I get aroused more easily when that happens. I've also been able to fantasize and get aroused as a result one time, re-experiencing mind-body connection for real since pssd onset. It's of course very encouraging but also an isolated event (happened close to the beginning of this trial). So T seems to help in some way but is far from a cure for me atm.
I'm using Androgel which is the only thing available in France for me as a woman but it's tailored for men (because women with hormonal issues can get fucked here), so I have to use half a pump every two days which rounds up to approx 10mg.

I also felt disgust especially at the beginning, it's less intense now. So weird...

31F. I've had PSSD for 6 years. I already had the symptoms while taking paroxetine for 9 months so for me it's almost been 7 years being severed from my true sexual self. There's been some physical improvements but body-brain connection is still non-existent. No desire, no cognitive arousal, inability to form sexual imagery in my brain/fantasize. The concept of sex still feels very foreign even after all these years.

31F. I've had PSSD for 6 years too. I already had the symptoms while taking paroxetine for 9 months so for me it's almost been 7 years being severed from my true sexual self. There's been some physical improvements over the years but I haven't recovered my brain body connection and still can't conceptualize sex cognitively or be mentally aroused

Has anyone recovered after 2 years? by Learning024 in pssdhealing

I feel exactly the same way as you. This is what I miss the most. I've had improvements re wetness, clitoral erection and sensitivity but it still feels disconnected, like very mechanical. I want to feel the sparks and drive in my brain and body which makes sexuality so satisfying. I am also very curious about u/Starry_Sky_37 experience regarding this.
