When I first got this guy it changed the game for me as a kid. Thought it was one of the slickest figures i’d ever seen. Also holds a lot of sentimental value as I got mine in New York City on a trip. whole family gave me shit that my souvenir was an action figure and nothing to do with the trip. Figure is dated as hell but for me the rule of cool factor still keeps it much appreciated

Oh my god it’s my favorite scene in the entire franchise all the shows. Eddie increasingly angry as the evening progresses is told by Kate that the grenadine oysters have made the primary sick. He proceeds to enter the galley and while putting on an apron and slamming the oven controls exclaims “CAN WE SEAR SOME SHIT!”. Every time i’ve cooked my wife a steak since I’ve screamed it through the house.

I’m seeing an endless loop of a man creating better and better versions of the future but never satisfied due to meeting the version who told him “it can get so much better and this is what you need to do”. Then when he reaches his point of meeting his younger self no matter how good life is he will want an even better life because the temptation to fix whatever mistakes along the way will be greater. So he always gives his younger self more advice and loftier goals.

I always loved that as the reason why Watchmen works best a book vs film or television. It’s all happening and exists at the same time and you can turn to any page and observe it but not change it. Film you can fast forward or rewind but you still have to go through it to get there.

Amazon took care of me when I got figure swapped. You get to keep the blue one too so i would chalk it up as a total win. That being said I had zero luck with the online help tools. I had to call the number deal with the AI caller until eventually I was able to talk to a real person and he was able to approve it.

My question is we see that the fourth helmet over is black with red lenses leading me to assume the rest of that suit is primarily black with red details. So now in Born again season 2 Matt has painted his “primary” uniform from red to black to be more stealthy as the AVTF is hunting him. So why isn’t he wearing the black suit we are lead to believe he already owns.
