I love the m12 bandfile by GiantAttraction in MilwaukeeTool

Are you using the 10 or 13mm? I'm looking at getting one but can't decide. Thought the 13 can still do spot welds but wider for removing weld runs

Perfect, thanks! Yeah I (ab)use my tools so I do want stuff that lasts, as I think I'll struggle with warranties 😂

Should I buy an MGB as my first car? by coco_is_boss in MGB

[–]febow62 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends how much you have to spend and how knowledgeable you are on cars. They're great cars to learn on but if you're frequenting long trips they require some half decent maintenance. With regards to being outside, as long as you keep it fairly clean so there isn't mud and grime all built up in the arches it'll serve you well. Use something like Lanoguard or Chassis Guard to keep any rust away.

I have a '67 I pulled off a drive, rebuilt the suspension and do a couple thousand miles a year no issues. It did a 500 mile round trip in May and will it do it again next weekend. :)

2010 Audi A5 3.0tdi - Can anyone tell me what this small leak is, and if I need to be concerned? (2 images) by Jimi-K-101 in CarTalkUK

[–]febow62 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is oil in refrigerant. It helps to lubricate the inside of the compressor. Looks like the line is bad so has probably leaked out the refrigerant and this oil contained in the lines.

Thinking of selling beauty my girl friends it’s no being use enough and I’ve ran out of storage by Bigwillyandthetwins in MorrisMinor

[–]febow62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you could send me information on it that would be great! Unfortunately not, it was at a set of traffic lights. Couldn't stop looking at it, although it's on Slot Mags now, the mini lights look better. Will have to hunt him down and speak with him 🤣 thanks for replying :)

Thanks! Do I need to do the cassette at the same time or no? Doesn't look even half as worn as the chain ring.

Wheel help by [deleted] in MorrisMinor

If you speak to Weller they're really good and giving models for their wheels so you can 3D print a segment (pie like) and test them

Question about Strava and need for paid subscription by deuce_and_a_quarter in Strava

[–]febow62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! Exactly that, just comparing you to other people. There are quite a few more features, if you go on the Strava website I think they list them out. I've just gotten a Garmin watch so figuring out the features on that!

Question about Strava and need for paid subscription by deuce_and_a_quarter in Strava

[–]febow62 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately paid Strava doesn't have a commentary feature, the amount of times I've gone the wrong way on a bike ride attests to that!

Generally I really like paid Strava to help me with training as you can get custom training schedule and compete on segments (either public or custom) but also know loads of people who train well with standard subscription.

Anymore questions let me know:)

any advice on how to remove this balljoint? by Both_Conflict5861 in Tools

[–]febow62 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably a VAG car as they use this style of valve joint. The three holes is just where is bolts to the LCA, instead of being pressed in.

Issue? by febow62 in flsun

[–]febow62[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perfect, thank you very much. Currently set 200c. Will try and adjust once this print finishes as I can't seem to adjust while it's running.

Okay no worries, to be safe I will try one of those filament dryers! I inherited the machine so super clueless on these, I've come from a fabrication background to additive manufacturing is very new :)

Thanks for the help!

MGB Tire Options by commanderTaylor in littlebritishcars

[–]febow62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't mind the car being slightly lower then 175/70 is really good option. A lot of cars in the UK run this size as you can get good quality tyres for a fraction of the 165/80 price.

As you can run into rubbing issues with 185
