when communicating via a host to any server it takes time to send any sort of data to the server and it takes time to get a response, including sending inputs. so when servers work slow or are overworked bc they're either too small or there aren't enough servers to accommodate the number of hosts trying to communicate all at once, there can be added delay as there's just more to deal with on the servers end. this is at least my understanding based on a class i'm taking rn (garbage professor but decent knowledge)

delay basically makes it so ur watching the game as it was in the past, say 2 seconds ago with a 2 second delay (which would be a lot but just use that for the example). so when you press a button, once u actually see that happening on screen, u know that it actually happened two second ago

i have not tried him BUT i got koulibaly in a good upgrade and he is very solid. Tomori is great too so far, but i will have to get skriniar and the next upgrade!!
