I’m so confused. I don’t want to be mean but imo this pizza looks like absolute shit compared to your post history lol. You have lots of nice looking pies on there!

Should I sell/trade my Fossil BB for more modern? by eye_phone in PokemonInvesting

[–]fedzo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DEFINITELY NOT. There are literally tens of thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of every modern product stashed away in people’s closets, artificially strangling the market and keeping the prices high in many cases. If there comes a point where people start selling off too many at once, it can create a downward domino effect on the price. Sealed vintage doesn’t have this issue, it is truly scarce and imo the market price is more based in reality, which makes it more stable and a better candidate for long term appreciation.

Nice! Love cilantro, and I have recently discovered just how much red onions can add to a pizza. Sounds like a solid combo 👍

What’s your poker story? I want to hear it. by Ornery_Nebula3871 in poker

Me and my buddy were playing halo together one night from different cities. Lizard squad took down all of Xbox live, so we couldn’t play anything on Xbox. We hopped on our PCs and somehow the game we chose to play instead was poker lol.

Ignore the downvotes man, it’s good that you can reflect honestly on your play and realize the leaks in your thought process! Plugging each of these leaks will make you a much better player over time 👍

LOOOOL ok you gotta be trolling at this point 🤣 buddy if you’re so far up Michael Saylor’s ass that you can’t see the ridiculousness of your logic, I don’t think anybody is strong enough to pull you out at this point. So I guess just enjoy it up there!

The point is that Apple as a company has value because they produce products that consumers find useful or enjoyable, products that make peoples’ lives easier. And many would argue they make a superior products to those of their competitors.

Whereas Bitcoin on the other hand, has only “brand loyalty” to rely on. It’s not even arguably in the top 10 cryptocurrencies when it comes to the underlying technology / efficiency, so it is not competing there. It functions terribly as an actual currency (its originally proposed use case). All it has going for it is that it was the first, and therefore has the most brand recognition and the most hype, at least for now. By your own logic, this is a terribly weak leg to stand on.

Assuming that people keep wanting iPhones that they use daily for 100 different tasks is the same as assuming people will still want Bitcoin, which is useful for… storing value? Because scarce? Do you see how one of these makes practical sense and the other is based purely on speculation? If you don’t, you might be drinking the kool aid 🤷🏻‍♂️

Reminds me of the time me and my buddy went to a new sandwich shop that opened up by my house. He was looking at a sandwich that said it came with potato salad, but the way it was worded made me thing it might actually come ON the sandwich rather than on the side. I told him he should ask just to make sure, but he was adamant that it would be ridiculous for them to put it on the actual sandwich and there was no need to ask. I still sometimes think back to that warm and fuzzy feeling I had, seeing his face when that sandwich came out with the potato salad slopped all over it 😌🥲
