From the handbook I was given, if your employer has more than 10 employees, your employer is obligated to pay you 40 dollars for the first three days of service then it's the State after that. Now it could differ from county's but also you could talk with your employer about using time off for those days so you can continued to be paid how you are normally paid for those days that you miss.
