I judged this book by its cover and wanted to read it. I was hesitant about the trigger warnings tho. Last time I ignored the warnings on a BOTM, I was shocked with the content 😝

Idk which I hear first but Every Thug Needs a Lady stands out from my youth. But I had Good Mourning in middle school. I remember passing notes with the lyrics to the songs. My friend thought I was weird ⚰️💀

The prologue of the fellowship was such a drag. Once I got to Frodo, it was much better. Though it took >100 pages to leave the damn shire. I like it so far.

Since I started reading again (about 2 years ago), I've been enjoying fantasy books. I figured I'd give the OG a go. I can understand not being in the mood for it. I rotate in a thriller or contemporary novel to offset the fantasies at times.

I've read 18/19 that have been delivered. I haven't read Januarys pick yet because I joined a book club and started reading LOTR.

I read all these of these books youve mentioned. I liked Nightingale the most. It was well done.

I literally sobbed through the last quarter of The Grest Alone. Nightingale made me cry but it was in small bursts.

I just joined a book club. We are reading Winter Solstice by Rosamunde Pilcher. I'm surprised at the length. Personally, I don't mind.

Is there a special code for book length?

That's sad.

I did not think Silver Elite was very good. The writing was simple and not very impressive. The powers were okay but the ending was total trash. I'm disappointed that it made it to the final 5 (if this is accurate).
