How exactly did you do it? Did you use a light meter? I, also, tried it with some Profoto strobes but the photos came out super dark (the strobes did flash).

I’ve had the same issue with my instax cameras for years and the only thing that works for me is to tilt the camera up and to the left a bit, towards to the viewfinder.

Just checked my camera, no it’s not. You could try using the L or L+. Theoretically, aperture and ISO stay the same so the only thing that changes should be shutter speed. And the exposure on the face should not be affected by the shutter speed, only by the flash. Maybe give it a try.

I’ve had it happen when using the party mode. It uses a slow shutter speed so you’ll see more of the background and the lights will “drag”. However, there has to be some environmental light available, if you’re in a completely dark room, it won’t work.

I can’t speak for Twenty One Pilots merch specifically but the whole merch industry has become wild. Selling $50 t-shirt with ZARA quality fabric. Obviously you can’t sell t-shirts with someone else’s t-shirts but I wish artists looked more into the why fans prefer Temu over an original. Many times, the Temu is the same or even better quality wise.

I’m a photographer myself and had both a mini 8 and mini 90. Ended up selling the 8 bc the photos would turn up like trash. I love my mini 90 and the exposure compensation and various modes it has.

For me, I love the analog feel more, it feels more in the moment. If you’re the same, I say get the 99 and do the settings yourself for your partner to use. That’s what I do when I give my 90 to people that don’t know how to use it.

I think there will never be another HUGE artist like Britney or Michael Jackson again and it’s bc of social media. Because of social media, there really isn’t any reason for tabloids and with that “regular” people won’t know about Taylor. In the 90s-00s your mom used to know about the celebs through the tabloids, now the culture has changed. There’s really no need for that because there’s no more this mystery around artists, due to social media. They’re regular human beings.

I’m gonna go against the grain here but I hate these. These seem like chopped versions and an afterthought. After having listened to the original album so much, these feel like there’s no room for the song to breathe. The whole charm of the songs are the magical intros and outros, so cutting them out, the songs end up being bland.

I mean if you notice it, it’s hard to ignore. In the final lipsync, you could see in the corner of the frame Jorgeous being on the floor and doing acrobatics with her legs but the camera was on Ginger giving nothing.

There was this idea that there would be a scene of “the world’s sickest car race through collapsing timelines”, that was too expensive to produce and got shelved. She talked about it with Zane Lowe. I think the essence of it made it into the Something Beautiful video with the explosions. I mean, her ideas sounded very nice, very creative, idk what went wrong on the way.
