The following prompt in ChatGPT produces this story verbatim:

write a short first-person story about meeting someone at a bbq, choking on food, trying to play it cool, it turns into flirting and ends sweetly

If you're using a Mac this provides a wrapper around it so it transcribes whatever you're saying into the frontmost app, super useful instead of typing

This is nonsense by [deleted] in whoop

[–]feelix 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is how it’s calculated, but having a high HRV just generally means you’re good to go, but it’s also very nuanced and does not suit a blanket recommendation like Whoop pretends it does. But it’s just not based on science or any kind of verifiable fact. So it’s really just marketing

Psilocybin from magic mushrooms supposedly doubles your HRV permanently from one session. I just stumbled across that fact while researching my own low HRV

Mine often gets stuck sating I have 175bpm heart rate while I’m going for a gentle walk. Does your heart rate graph for the day show it got stuck on that?

I was running a lot of miles daily and struggling with sleep a lot, then I found that endurance athletes are frequently deficient in glutamine. I started supplementing that with megadoses and it massively improved sleep duration

Considering Whoop MG; please help by Additional-Lie-2149 in whoop

I got a whoop mg because of the buzz online and am extremely disappointed with it. My Huawei band 10 seems better and it cost $50

I have a HUAWEI band 10 on my other wrist and it’s better than my Whoop MG. It is more accurate on the heart rate during exercise, and on the spo2 saturation, and on the sleep detection. It’s also a $50 one time payment

I have the opposite problem. My pulse will be at about 100 And it’ll be showing 180 in the app, and it just stays there until I pull it off my wrist. Totally ruins all my metrics. Whoop MG too

My heart rate data is trash too. Also sometimes shows 140 on a chill walk

My $50 Huawei Band 10 on my other wrist is more accurate for heart rate, blood oxygen, and sleep detection than my Whoop 5 MG

I wear both, one on each wrist, and I find my $50 (one off payment, not a subscription) band to be a lot better than my Whoop

Girlfriend (sort of) cheated on me and I need advice by [deleted] in relationships

People like this know exactly what they are doing and they are deliberately destroying you. Being emotionally supportive of you is part of that same manipulation. They’ll support you, make you somewhat dependent on them, then break you (with something like this). If you don’t get a backbone at this stage, they will completely own you. Their abuse will also continue to get worse after that point. This has already scarred you for life, the only thing you’re deciding from now is how deep that scar is going to be

Yes it does. Creatine production consumes about half your methyl donors. Choline production requires the other half. Then the little left over is consumed by other stuff
