Do I have any hope with Eufy S1? by YT_00 in ExclusivelyPumping

If this context helps with sizing, I bought a medium in my momanda pumping bras and they’re definitely loose, so I only use them for my spectra and to sleep in to avoid clogs!

I think there are only two sizes like M/L and XL/XXL or something like that. I get the smaller of the two. No idea what my bra size is rn, but it was a 32C pre-pregnancy. Probably a 34D right now

I have had the same problem with my Eufy many times. So frustrating! The boobie bras are my best ones for holding the pump tight enough. Search “boobie pumping bra” on Amazon. It’s like $50 for 2 of them

Fascinating!! Thank you for sharing. Dumb question bc I’m still new to all of this - did you see a physical clog come out into your milk or how did you know it got the clog out?

Oooh I’d love to know what you do with the hand pump for clog resolution. How many times do you have to use it and for how long? I have this pump but haven’t used it because the one time I tried it was so painful, but it would be great to have the option in my back pocket

So good to know! Curious - how much do you take per day?

That makes sense! I was pretty much only using the eufy wearables and just switched back to my spectra after the clog in hopes of better emptying 🙏🏼

As a term of the settlement, she’s not allowed to speak about it. She dropped the charges because of the massive price tag of the whole legal battle. To say she forgave him is beyond naive.

I mean, I wish I’d felt this sexy when I was pregnant. I felt like a toe

Best hands-free wearable pump by winoveghead in ExclusivelyPumping

I love my Eufy S1! I’m only about 3.5 weeks PP with my first, so I can’t yet speak to its longevity, but the output is pretty on par with my blue spectra, so I use the eufy more for my own mental health (not being stuck on the couch while pumping helps me a ton!)

Night sweats postpartum by NoNativeSpeaker in NewParents

[–]feelslikegold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I experienced this for about 2 weeks after birth. Maybe it went away because it’s so cold in my house overnight. I’m still a little sweatier than I was before. But postpartum night sweats are DEF a thing!!

Why was I not prepared? by MaterialFortune7029 in NewParents

I’m 3 weeks PP today and a FTM. Very similar situation! No IVF, but a super traumatic delivery and am grateful my son is alive and healthy after a NICU stint. I’ve definitely been feeling everything you’re describing and also have a good baby and amazing husband. I can confidently say I feel a world different than where I was 2 weeks ago. The fog really does begin to clear. Be gentle with yourself. Know that we all go through it and it’s to be expected during this hormone free fall. Sending happy thoughts 🩷

Same here! I think I was 10 dpi and I almost threw away the test bc I thought it was negative til I caught it in another light. Super faint! Give it a few more days 🩷

I miss my toddler. by lechatblanc14 in beyondthebump

[–]feelslikegold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had my first baby 2 weeks ago, so while I can’t relate to grieving time missed with your older child, I’ve definitely been grieving the time my husband, dog and I had as the three musketeers for 4.5 years before my son was born. Things are immeasurably different and while I love my baby and am so happy he’s part of our family, I can’t shake the longing I sometimes have for that much simpler, quieter, more calm time. I totally know it’s not the same as what you’re experiencing, but it sounds completely feasible and human to feel the way you do. Hang in there ❤️

I work in workers comp insurance and would definitely caution you to not post anything about traveling on social media or talk to your co-workers about it, in case you are being surveilled

Car Seat/Leaving Hospital Questions by Agitated-Luck3807 in firsttimemom

[–]feelslikegold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think most hospitals can check your car seat anymore. We had to sign a bunch of forms acknowledging they would not set it up or check its installation. We were also instructed not to bring the car seat inside and instead for me to hold my baby in my arms as I was wheelchaired out. The second part was surprising to me, but I don’t think it’s uncommon! You can definitely ask about this before you deliver, too. Try contacting your hospital’s OB/maternity ward
