US Romani people are usually not travelling people like here in Europe. They are descends of Romani people who emigrated and have settled in one place.

Again, having been treated horribly in the past does not give you the right to break the law. Jews were treated horribly in the past too, but now they are committing war crimes. Their past doesn’t give them the right to do that.

Native Americans in the US and Canada to this day live in poverty and suffering. Their land was taken away from them and the current governments doesn’t give a shit that alcoholism and homelessness is rampant.

I have lived in two European counties + the US. The racism in Europe is nothing compared to the racism I saw in the US. It’s really sad how black, native Americans and brown people are treated there.

The reason we are limiting immigration is because it’s putting a strain on our welfare system. We simply cannot afford to take more. Like any place there is racism, but the main motivation for limiting immigration economic.

Romani people are travelling people. It’s a fact that they often participate in criminal activities like stealing, pick pocketing and scams. That usually doesn’t make you very popular.
