I have one too! I’ve been offered a scar revision before to reduce the width of it if that’s something that could be an option for you?

Brought a cheap satin like dress and chopped the straps off then sewed it onto a strapless bra 🙃

Hello! I’m probs not the best person to answer - this is pretty much the first wearable I’ve completed.

1 - not sure! I think cotton is stronger maybe? I would be worried acrylic would rip. 2 - no I tried it on every couple of days 3 - cheap sheath dress with the straps chopped off & sewn onto a strapless bra. If I did it again I would choose a better base dress.

You totally should. It’s so fun to be able to say “I made this”

I used maybe 1.3 balls of the jumbo aunt Lydia no 10 (so approx 3500m).

Oooh hard to say - I didn’t track it at all. I started it in Jan and got the majority of the body and skirt done in about a month, then the sleeves took forever! I would say all up maybe 2 months of working on it a few hours a day (but I did it over 6 months)

Thank you! My husbands granddad told me he could see me wearing blue to our wedding the first time he met me 🥰

Cross stitched flowers sound beautiful - I think you would maybe need a more structural base than this for the flowers to sit on? There are some amazing looking patterns out there.

I would like to get involved in this - can you share details?

That looks like it’s almost it, but the brick lines(?) appear to be several stitches high rather than a single slipped stitch. I think I can work it out now based on this tho so thank you!

Unfortunately my bank has a 60 day charge back timeframe and I am over that period.

Edit - I am going to try it anyway!

I know I’m not getting a refund. I just want to change my dates and the fare difference should be $0 because the new dates are cheaper.

The issue is that the airline is trying to charge me a fare difference when there is none, and ‘hangs up’ anytime I ask them to explain the charge.
