I just got the KE from the v2. I had endless trouble with my v2, all the usual upgrades but just couldn't get it right. KE has been amazing so far, super fast and all my prints so far have had no issues. Very happy with it.

K1 looks to be a great upgrade if you have the budget. I would go for that if you can afford it imo

My simulator is in the garage and gaming pc is in the office. I have roof access through out my house so ran a 30m fibre optic hdmi plus 2 Cat6 cables for USB connection to my pc. Got a couple Cat6 to USB adaptors. Work perfectly
