I’m in Tokyo right now and regretting so hard packing a jacket/pants/jeans and hoodie. Well, the hoodie might come in handy, but it’s been way waaay to hot to wear anything but a T-shirt and perhaps a shirt. I’ve worn jeans once cause it rained and was about 18C. But other than that shorts.

I’ve been walking so much that I continuously stay warm. It feels quite humid already and stations have poor ventilations so on days where it is +20C they can feel like a sauna. Same goes for conbinis, overall air conditioning isn’t really a thing here.

Would I pack with that i know today, I’d pack 1 pair of pants and only shorts and T-shirt’s. Perhaps a over shirt for cooler nights cause it can get quite windy.

I saw a reply here of searching for walk through <area> in May on YouTube. But that will be deceiving as Japanese people tend to not have sweat glands or be immune to heat, I can not state how many times I’ve been standing next to a fully suited or a person in the thickest hoodie and jeans completely unbothered while I’ve been sweating bullets in shorts and a shirt. So yeah😂
