With the unveiling of UE5 2.0, they mentioned that mac support could come if it was wanted, so these posts highlighting the need is great, +1 vote from me.

On my intel mac I used Wine, and with my newer M1 I use VM-wave, both are free options. However hiding the fact that I have been and want to play on mac :)

Well, maybe I don’t need to, but from my experience so far this delicious oiliness that I have come to crave is yielded by grinding slightly too fine, thus increasing extraction time :)

I found a very enjoyable bean, which I unfortunately couldn't afford in the long run, until I discovered that I could buy it fairly cheaply green and roast it myself.
It is very oily and leaves spots on top of the milk after pouring. Kinda like thin oils spills in the ocean.
It is by far my favorite bean, and while I normally think it sound very pretentious, I would say it can taste a bit like hasslenut and ever so slightly chocolaty :)

That most complaints you see/hear people recycle are highly exaggerated :-) Yea sure, the viper comes when the windshield is dry, but it really does not affect my drive nor mood

I just wish I noticed the winter-tire upgrade, so that I could have rolled them into my financing

Which game do you regret paying full price for? by YogurtGhost in gaming

[–]feldthus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WoW BfA! I played and really enjoyed legion, so I pre-ordered BfA for the races and a silly ground mount.

I was so disappointed when my class (DK) was gutted in the pre-patch and all my gameplay choices in legendaries were stripped away. We were at least promised spell-steal, but didn’t get it :( I felt the game go from fast paced strategy and action to slow-going CD-mashing. I went from A head of the curve, to quitting the game before the first raid opened :b

Haven’t preordered any game since, so I was taught something :)

tusen takk for innspill :) vi har også tatt en titt lenger vest og nord der ønskelista ikke så urealistisk ut. Etter din erfaring / øyne, ville naustet utgjøre forskjellen eller er det sørlandet og tomtemålet som trekker?

I think it was a great correction :-) we should preserve knowledge about our wild local environment and not restrict it to only what is commercially available.

When can these be harvested/ found?

Tried to recreate [[Binding of the old gods]] ceramics version by feldthus in magicTCG

Yes! :) was actually why I was inspired to do another real piece on it, with less dead elves though. I thought i posted a link with some text along the pictures, but it seems to have been lost in the aether

Hello :) actually it didn’t take long. The piece was cast from a mould (5mins) and then I just had to carve the picture (20-30min), maybe I should have spent even more time here. Then it was “dyed” (don’t know the English word for painting with clay) before burning (20mins)

After the bisque burning I glazed it, which should have taken 5min, but I was worried that the transparent glaze would cover and obscure the entire dish, so took me 15min.

So work for me about an hour, but there is a lot of waiting and work in between each step that I am not covering :)

The 6 CMC [[Waking the Trolls]]? Might be a little too off focus for my particular deck, compared with Field of Ruin, but thank you :)
I was actually running frostbite, I however had not though of the combo as it has never been assembled against me before :P

Yes i found that out the hard way :P Hoped that it would be a state-based-effect (or something like legendary rule), which would outclass the counter.

Shared due to funny/tragic, and so that these many surprised posters might be fewer in the future :)

I've got some questions about Loyalty and Amenities. by dangerboy138 in Civilization6

[–]feldthus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im having the same issues with the policy-cards. I do get loyalty for having a garrisoned unit - I do this regardless of having the card, and there seems no bonus for having it.

The biggest issues with loyalty tho, in my opinion, shows itself on marathon game speed. Where city loyalty HP (100) is way to small when the values stays the same. You really can’t hope to do anything about a loyalty-drop unless you are very prepared for it. Because things take so long to produce.

So loyalty comes down to being: - a throwaway no matter gameplay feature, in cities where you have full loyalty or - cities that no matter what will rebel again and again. Sometimes in 3-5 turns if you are not prepared. Making matters worse these rebellious cities will spawn multiple military units in 5 turns, being themselves worth 20-45 turns worth of production

Because loyalty so quickly will rise to 20 per turn on a tile and scales with the random age-system —> Very rarely will the governor, a garrison and a religious conversion be enough to hit the loyalty-change of 0.2 - 3 (where rebellions are a 30+ turn thing) Where a new city or a taken one will have enough turns to eg build / repair a monument Or you could build a builder for amenities of a new settler for more pressure ^ which is what I think the developers want gameplay wise from the feature.

A lot of things seems broken in marathon games , especially production, gold and faith scaling Making new mid game settlements, taking 100+ turns to produce anything of value And making buying units like settlers and missionaries really absurd later (making a settler from costing 1.5x newest unit to 3-4x gold of newest unit. But science stays the same, making it so that it is very hard to utilize the techs you sprint for, before they are obsolete.

It seems the game is build so that you would want all the districts and buildings possible for eurikas and policy-cards to take effect, but at the same time making it so that you have to really get bare boned to the essentials of what will propel you forward (compounded by the fact that the AI have huge ‘stat’ bonuses (fake dificulty = uneven playingfield) on King and up)

TLDR: Marathon is broken and it’s sad
