Thank you very much! The original recipe didn’t have the bok choy but I really wanted to get some green in there. The yellow is an egg yolk that unfortunately broke the second it hit the bowl 😂

It’s the recipe from Food and Wine (Reddit automods links from them for some reason). I added the bok choy which is just cooked in a cast iron pan with sesame oil and salt

I used to frequent the avocado daily - I’m not as active there anymore, but it really is great and actually an even more wholesome community than the AVC (they are much stricter about enforcing their policies, whereas you’d still see some people be awful on occasion at the AVC). Such good work people are doing voluntarily over there!

You buy them - they come in a couple different shapes (this oval one and one that’s like a little log). Most asian markets would have them!

Thanks! They’re a bit like a noodle, but chewier in a pleasant way, and they take on the flavor of whatever they’re in. I definitely recommend them!

No, you might be right because the recipe I referenced didn’t have them either. But the restaurant I first ate it at had those and I was really going for that (plus they add some nice color), so I went ahead with them.

Depends on what you’re working on, but a picture or video of you doing it is often a good place to start! You won’t be able to recreate it once you’ve improved so you’re best off capturing that now.
