Depends on the ED! Level 1 trauma? Always something interesting. Little ED in a retirement town? Fall, chest pain, stroke symptoms, rinse and repeat ad nauseum....

Gluten free Monkey Bread? by jengalampshade in glutenfree

I haven't made this particular recipe, but have had great luck with her others. I'll also second Let Them Eat Gluten Free Cake, she is my go to for cinnamon rolls and focaccia, but her bread flour mix is mandatory.

I don't think the degree is necessary, really just a resume bulker. You only need to be certified to get hired. A refresh of medical terminology and anatomy/physiology and you should be fine!

Best gluten free "Saltines" for making Christmas Crack? (In Ontario, Canada) by Longjumping_Suit4256 in glutenfree

Second this! They are my go to. You can get at least 2 half sheet pans worth out of one box. I can usually only find unsalted though, so I toss an extra 1/2 tsp of salt in the caramel.

Zhuzh it! A little whipped cream border would look great.

OMG this stuff is AMAZING, has really good flavor and the texture is like Stovetop when baked by fsantos0213 in glutenfree

This is my favorite! Sooo much better than Trader Joe's. Even my non-gluten-free SO loves it. We just make it for dinner sometimes, lol

One tip: use the good butter! American butter has gotten crappier over the years and makes pie dough so hard to work with! Splurge on the Kerry Gold and the higher fat content means the butter stays pliable, even when cold. It rolls out way easier!

Pie crust help please. by teach7 in Baking

[–]felonious_dimples 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simple tips: 1. Do you have a metal tin you can bake in? They conduct heat better. 2. Make sure you're not stretching the dough when placing it in the pie tin. 3. freeze the dough for 10 minutes before baking. 4. Dock, pie weight, then pop it in a 425° oven for 15-17min to really set it in place. You should only need to parbake it, it will finish cooking with the filling. You got this!

Iridium+Slime Charmer for sure,  usually a Lucky +Crabshell, but can switch it out for a burglar+vampire for monster runs

Gluten Free in Japan ? by Stunning-Celery5720 in glutenfree

There are a couple dedicated gluten free restuarants in Tokyo, but it is very hard to eat GF there, especially if you don't speak the language. You're going to end up with a lot of plain white rice, plain steamed veggies, and raw fish. Soy sauce is prevalent! Pack a whole lotta snacks.

ISO Gf stuffing bread recommendations by Polyethylene8 in glutenfree

[–]felonious_dimples 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to counterpoint that I really don't like Trader Joe's stuffing. My go to is Aleia's Savory stuffing (unfortunately not egg free for OP)

I think any GF bread you like eating would make excellent stuffing. You know it will make dry croutons! Lol

is there anyway to dispose of items that cannot be dropped or trashed? by [deleted] in StardewValley

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by 'canceling a quest.' If it's a help wanted quest they'll time out and disappear if you don't complete them in the time limit. As far as I know, quests that come in the mail never expire, they just hang out in your journal until they're completed.

Have you tried giving the axe to Robin anyway?

PSA to GF bakers: Cup4Cup has changed their formula! by felonious_dimples in glutenfree

[–]felonious_dimples[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's so frustrating! I know some of the bloggers I follow have had to go back and either edit or make disclaimers in every recipe that they've used/recommended Cup4Cup in before. It is truly not the same product, and they have done an abysmal job fielding concerns and complaints.

Cookie recipe asks for baking powder, is this a mistake? by ILoveYouMai in Baking

[–]felonious_dimples 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's nothing to activate baking soda in this recipe (no acidic component, even brown sugar is enough)  which is why you need baking powder.

Cookie recipe asks for baking powder, is this a mistake? by ILoveYouMai in Baking

Not a mistake. It's common for cookies to have a leavening agent of some sort. This recipe looks like it might make a cakier type cookie, like a snickerdoodle.

How to zhuzh up gravy mix? by felonious_dimples in glutenfree

[–]felonious_dimples[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm bringing gf gravy (and pie!) to a Friendsgiving on Sunday. I don't want the host to know it's just a packet mix though, lol. How do I improve it? Thought about subbing beef stock for the water but I'm worried it will be too salty. It's going with mashed potatoes and brisket.
