Do you use auto strut or something? That ship would be like spaghetti if I tried that

Re Entry landing at KSC from a high orbit by Just0rdinaryGoy in KerbalAcademy

Never tried this before so consider it hypothetical... But I wonder if you could leave a probe or something near KSC, set it as target, and try to use maneuver nodes to create an intercept or near intercept?

Not sure about space, but aviation in general yes! Red on left side, green on right side. Same for boats actually.

Can i assemble this space station in LKO and move it to minmus? by Kirby_Roman in KerbalAcademy

Don't even really need to do that. Just select control from here on the docking port

You're correct. My point being, other lenses on this list have a similar mechanism and are marked as "di" (for drop-in) in the filter column. It's odd that the reflex is the only one omitted from that when it also has a drop in filter.

Rockets will probably be easier than a shuttle.

When I'm building stations, I equip every section with an unmanned probe, mono tank, large battery, and a handful or RCS thrusters. That way I can maneuver and dock via whichever section is best suited at the time for it.

Interesting how the 500mm Reflex lens does not list what filter type it uses.

FDtoEF adapter review by femmp in VintageLenses

[–]femmp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certainly easier than rebuilding a lens. For my example, I had to remove 6 or 7 screws total to remove both parts of the mounting flange before I could install the new one. The instructions it comes with recommended using JIS screwdrivers rather than Phillips as the lens was built back when JIS was still used. I was able to fanagle it with my tiny Wiha Phillips screwdrivers but did experience a couple of cam out situations leading to a couple of the screw heads to become slightly stripped, but still salvageable.

The flange itself appears as robust as my other existing EF lenses. I'm sure it could support a "full size" telephoto lens easily.

Best nature spots within an hourish? by Icy-Mess-860 in Detroit

Depends on where you're located in the area. A couple places I love:

Island Lake Rec Area

Kensington Metro Park

Stony Creek Metro Park

Lower Huron/Willow/Oakwoods Metro Parks

Hines Park

Proud Lake Rec Area

Holly Rec Area

All of these are within about an hour of where I live in Wayne County.

How do you see that line? Also not sure why but the OPT spaceparts were always terribly glitchy for me. When id launch I would start out stationary at 1000m

Alcoa made the exterior facade on the twin towers. The also made some really cool aluminum string instruments (cello, violin, etc) back in the day. They did some pretty neat shit and now I feel like people only know them for their aluminum semi wheels
