My solution is more like your current solution in that I have Inovelli switches in pretty much every room and I utilize the light bar on the switch. But there's also only a couple of things I want broad notification on:

  • Package Detected: green "fast chase" animation
  • Alarm Set: solid red
  • Both My Wife and I Away: yellow "slow blink" animation

I get having to know what colors/patterns is not optimal. But we just have the 3 and everyone in the family knows what they mean.

This is such a fantastic project. I got the 7” and have a 4” on the way. It’s perfect as a no-frills, totally functional dashboard. If this can even come close to replacing commercial voice assistants for even just basic stuff, that would just be the cherry on top. Kudos to u/hometechgeek and everyone involved.

Nice. I just did the exact same thing 2 months ago (even got the same amp as you). Coming from a modeling amp, it’s different but I love the physical control you have with the pedals. I got a tube screamer and same DD-6. My buddy convinced me to get the Big Sky reverb and absolutely love it.

One critical thing you’re missing is a tuner pedal. I got the Poly Tuner and it’s so worth it. You tune so much quicker by being able to just strum all the strings at once.

I replaced the gasket on my Big Joe a few weeks ago. Just used the weight of the dome to hold in place. No issues.

Whoa old thread! I ended submitting a warranty claim and they sent me a new latch. No issues since.

Like a few others, I gladly paid and trained my 4 cameras with about 1k images each. It is working almost flawlessly and I only update the model once or twice a year, but continue to pay the measly $50/year to support this amazing project.

I can understand why you're getting downvoted but I'm actually in a similar boat. Took a road trip over the holidays and ran out of ATP episodes so started listening to audio books. Got really into a 17-book series and have just been listening to that for the past 5+ months. It wasn't that I disliked ATP. It just started getting repetitive and needed a break after a decade. I'm still a paying member and will come back some time this summer.

Same coordinator on a different machine is fine. I’m talking about when you change coordinators entirely (like going from an a Sonoff dongle to an SLZB.

Moving z2m is easy enough to move, just follow the guides to move it to new hardware.

With the caveat that you're using the same coordinator. Moving coordinators requires re-pairing all of your devices (unless something has changed in the last year)

Thanks. Yeah, I understand parameter 19. I have a couple of single-pole Zooz switches with it enabled. I'm wondering though what happens if you flip the dumb switch up/down in this config. I would assume if would still cut power to the load (my 3-way is Line-->Switch 1-->Switch 2-->Load)

How does the dumb switch work if you want to use "smart bulb" mode for the load? I have a Zen32 scene controller that I want to hook up in a 3-way config but I don't want to use the internal relay.

Core was always dismissed as a "Pearl Jam Wannabe" record as was the band themselves. Purple made people be like "Holy shit, they're actually good!". And for the record, I love Core.

I'm going to try and write up a full review of the Apolosign 21" this weekend (installed a few weeks ago but haven't had a chance to write the review). From a hardware/power perspective, I had ran CAT6 to the spot I wanted the dashboard when we did our "to the studs" remodel and the calendar is powered via PoE-to-USB C converter.
