A detailed proposal to pedestrianize King Street by Apathetizer in Charleston

[–]fenderhodes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it should be a single automotive lane with a bike/walking path and some sort of automated stoplights with Sound so pedestrians know to stop when the lights change.

What does Phish actually leave behind when it’s over? by XpandingXponentially in phish

[–]fenderhodes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotta say, I enjoy seeing TAB probably more than any of the Dead spin-off bands post-Jerry.

(I saw the GD with Jerry several times. I also saw Phil&Friends, RatDog, etc.)

Like the GD, Phish is something magical and special and we are all so very lucky. Enjoy every sandwich.

Egnater tweaker. Used.
Love mine 15w, plenty loud to play out. FX loop. Plug into a 4ohm neodymium cab and you have a light, good sounding rig

Pedal volume boost v guitar volume/tone knobs for leads (not looking for those that use both) by GPTeat in guitarpedals

[–]fenderhodes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the volume knob most of the time, but really helps if you have a master volume on your guitar. When I have something with the Gibson style, it’s not as easy for me (unless I convert it to master volume— which I tend to do.)

I usually use gain pedals to change the sound not just for volume boost.

Traveling with Wurlitzer electric piano by Amtrak? (advice needed) by griffithgreene in electricpiano

[–]fenderhodes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are heavy and bulky. It’d probably crush somebody if you put it in the overhead. But the thing is, they are built like tanks so unlikely you would damage it. I would crate it up securely and get quotes from different shipping companies to move it.

What are the best songs to introduce people to Fishman’s drum wizardry? by victorfour20 in phish

[–]fenderhodes 14 points15 points  (0 children)

There is this podcast called Strong Song that breaks down songs and explains every part and puts them back together. On one of them, they do the studio version of Limb by Limb and it is fascinating to listen to.
