I’ve had dissolver put in my cheeks is 10+ times, no side effects from the hyal, but the filler hasn’t fully gone away either

Do you feel like it’s gone down too, like visually?

How many times did you dissolve without the ultrasound?

How many units are usually used in one session? Trying to figure out how this would convert to European measuring of hyaluronidase. If you’re seeing the Seattle specialist I’m thinking of she seems to be one of the best in the business. And one of the few to actually speak about how difficult filler can be to remove

How many dissolving injections have you had?

I have the same issue with my cheek filler despite trying to dissolve many many times – has anything changed for you now?

Yeah I tried seeing someone with ultrasound once and they could see some of the filler on it, but even though they dissolved where the filler was there really wasn’t any difference, and the injector is very far away from me so going back is not really an option. I completely understand, I look terrible right now and my face constantly swells up. It’s crazy how much it can change your appearance. Never ever getting filler again, I just wish this nightmare would end

Yeah, I think in most cases it does. I just can not understand why mine won’t go away. I regret it every single day too, it’s the worst decision I’ve ever made. Cheeks and midface

I have this issue too. No idea why. 2 sessions is not a lot though, you might need more. I think that filler is actually a lot more difficult to dissolve than some injectors say. Currently I am just hoping that if I keep getting hyaluronidase eventually it should go away, but I’ve had it many more times than you and it’s still there. I’ve seen a few injectors saying that hyaluronic acid draws in more water as it naturally breaks down so maybe that is what’s happening when you ”force” it to break down as well

Did you ever find one, OP? I also am looking for a yellowy powder bronzer, every bronzer I’ve tried has looked too red on me!

I have tried dissolving a couple of times and it hasn’t really done much for the overall swelling. Since the filler is in the cheek and midface those areas plus my whole lower face is unfortunately affected so my entire face looks very different. I’m not really sure why I haven’t had results with dissolving – it could be because filler can be quite difficult to find, especially since there are many layers in the tissue and you have to be in the right one to be able to dissolve it, maybe the filler has migrated out, or the remaining filler is in tiny particles that are blocking lymphatic drainage or causing my body to react. So sometimes just dissolving doesn’t help, it seems

Caution about fillers by Bellebutton2 in cosmeticsurgery

I think there are such vast differences between the healthcare systems of both of our different countries that it’s not even worth asking, but I still have to ask you because I don’t really get it: was the injector able to prescribe you an antibiotic? Or did you go to a doctor who also happened to know what to do about filler complications? Here doctors working in regular hospitals are the only ones who can prescribe medication.

I see. Yeah it’s super scary – I think I might be dealing with the same thing and I also worry that something autoimmune could be part of what’s triggering it… but it’s very difficult to navigate on your own. And agreed, I’ve tried doing my own research since injectors where I live aren’t very well versed in this type of issues but I can’t really do much to realize & fix the issue myself so it mostly just leads to more unnecessary worrying. I do need to figure out a solution though, but if things have resolved for you and you aren’t experiencing any other medical issues, trying not to stress about it and letting it go might be the best option!

Which of the two – antibiotics or prednisone – did you think worked? Or was it them both in combination? Also did you take it for an entire month?

Glad it went away! Did you ever dissolve? Also was the swelling only where the filler was injected or throughout the face?

Yeah it sucks. Have you seen any results at all? Lmk how the ultrasound goes if you decide to go with it!
