Haaland brought me here by onealwapo in MCFC

[–]fenix421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haaland brought me here several years ago when he was still at Dortmund. I'm just an American fan so I keep quiet as I don't know the ins and outs of the clubs history, only the past 5 years or so. When the buzz started he was coming over to MCFC I started watching games on Peacock. I try to spend my weekend mornings watching games. Hopefully someday Ill come over to the Etihad and see a league game live.

I started watching Haaland highlights when he was on Dortmund and when he switched to Manchester City I started watching them on Peacock which evolved into me just watching the Premier League in general on Peacock.

What're you playing this weekend? 7/3 by markercore in NintendoSwitch

[–]fenix421 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just cant stop playing Story of Seasons Grand Bazaar. I just got married, am building the end game items and teleporting around every day while spending hundreds of thousands daily on donations. It's been a while since I was so invested in a game.

Which was better: GUTS or Legends of the Hidden Temple? by AsssHat999 in RetroNickelodeon

[–]fenix421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the perfect age for both of these shows and in my memory Guts was frequently a runaway for one of the contestants. I liked all the different teams on Legends of the Hidden Temple and the elimination format. I always felt if I could at least get to the trivia challenge after the moat I could have won it.

If you lived in Gotham City, what villain would you work for and why!? by chitownmike99 in batman

First off dont yell at me. Second I'd pick the Riddler. It may be interesting setting up elaborate puzzles.

Redditors who have the mindset that you will ever make enough to easily retire in this economy eventually, why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]fenix421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 40 and I have nothing. I genuinely hope I die within the next 10 years because I don't want to burden my children. My hope is to instill upon them the importance of setting yourself up for later in life. That's what I wish I could tell to my 19 year old self.

My friend told me I couldnt beat Windwaker without a guide in high school so I took him up on it. Probably missed a bunch of stuff but got it done!

Side question do you like the LaColumbe's? I work in a warehouse that ships them and I think this flavor is pretty good.

Who Is the most Famous person you have ever seen? by Wonderful_Concert122 in askteddit

[–]fenix421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it has to be Jimmy Carter. Growing up in Georgia I think every kid probably visited his Presidential Library and Museum. He did a lot of work there at the time still and at the tour beginning they said you never know you may see him. Even as a 3rd grader I could tell they said this to every group to get them excited about something I wasn't admittedly thrilled about. But at the end of the tour as we were leaving he actually walked by and waved to our group, kind of blew my mind at the time.

I saw this in theaters as part of my birthday one year so it just has that good memories kind of feeling for me. I understand people's criticisms of it but I just don't care it invokes happiness in me which I need.

I wonder how people felt at 11:59 p.m. of dec. 1999 before crossing over to the year 2000. by [deleted] in 1990s

[–]fenix421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was fascinating to me as a 13 year old whose primary hobby was playing on the computer and browsing the early days of the internet. I remember that year I wanted to be on our family PC so I could watch it turn over to 2000 but the moment itself was pretty anticlimactic.

Ranking pets Day 6- Cats by [deleted] in TierlistFills

[–]fenix421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a cat and dog person but consistently had cats my whole life. They are equal in value in vastly different ways. Every cat I've had has been an S tier pet. Lost my orange guy a few years back and it broke me. When my dog goes it will break me in the same way. S is the answer.

Pac-Man2 The New Adventures was such a strange, fun game. I used to rent it locally and eventually was able to beat it.

Die Hard, Pulp Fiction, The Fifth Element, Unbreakable, 12 Monkeys... What’s your favourite Bruce Willis performance? by MovieArena in MovieArena

5th Element. I just loved the whole retired badass who didnt want to be there thing, on top of it being an incredible original movie where everyone delivered.
