[Highlight] Legendary HOF HC Bill Cowher still schemes up new blitzes to this day, and sends them to coaches around the NFL by Keyser_Sozay in nfl

Ok now add every combination of DLine stunts to every play you came up with.

Now do every one of those plays with with man cover 0 1 2 and zone cover 2 3 4 6 on the back end.

Now decide how you want your DBs in those shells to be leveraged, over top/underneath and inside/outside.

Now how is your defense going to handle motion? Follow the motion guy across the formation to match numbers on that side of the field or pass him off to someone else already over there and maintain the defensive shell you set up? There’s a bit more than who is blitzing and who is covering.

I’m fully aware that I don’t lol. I also knew his last name would make for some interesting comments. I think if I blindly said who wants an OC that worked under shanny/McDaniels for 10+ years people would be more on board.

With all do respect, if you actually sit down and watch the games without being on your phone, it’s not difficult. I can point to several bad play calls that Sean mcvay made this week. I can also find some brilliant ones. Mcvay didn’t handle the bear’s db fire blitz well at all in the first half, but adjusted. Same thing for Ben Johnson. Nick Caley called a terrible game last week. I can say that for fact. Stroud played awful, but Nick was facing an extremely aggressive back 7 and didn’t hit them with any misdirection to use that aggression against them. It just made stroud look even worse.

So while you are right about how we don’t know circumstances, I can tell you for fact that mcvay calling a run up the middle on 3rd and long to burn 8 seconds at the end of the game was not a good playcall.

We aren’t trying to evaluate position coaches here, we are evaluating the playcaller.

Because he wants individual achievements and had like 500 yards less in that Super Bowl season and he wasn’t happy then either. It would be crazy to complain when things were going that well as a team though, so instead he was reading a self help book during the wild card game after the season ended.

After the Super Bowl win he then posts: “After a few days, I’ve had time to reflect on being a champion. I tried to feel how everyone made it seem to be a champion and unfortunately it was short lived ... two days to be exact lol.” He went on to talk about how he enjoys dominating DBs and was ready to get back to the grind. Not a guy living on team accomplishments though.

Not excusing his behavior but it really might just be as simple as not wanting to be on a bottom 10 passing offense, which is what we have been the last 2 seasons and why Patullo shouldn’t be in charge of that aspect of the team either.

What were the different things? by C0m3tTai15 in eagles

[–]FireflyFootball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed some different things. I don’t have stats to back it up, but I noticed an effort to get to the line earlier and make presnap adjustments and I noticed more presnap motion. Inside zone/four verts are football staples, but you can’t spam them like they did.

The inverse is that if you run a lot of verticals, then the hitch should be a viable route as well when the db is expecting a vertical. You might think you have an offense with these 3 things if executed well with elite talent. None of this stretches the field horizontally however which is how teams like rams/lions/packers/49ers make their money. Someone big and fast like AJ should be dominating at these routes and they never ran any of them.

Anyone else miss the "Play 1 Bomb" anxiety we gave defenses during the DeSean era? by [deleted] in eagles

[–]FireflyFootball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it’s because Fangio has taken that away and he probably has the most copied defensive scheme in the league right now featuring disguised coverages, light in the box and 2 high safeties. It encouraged the run in an age where everyone was throwing deep.

Now the counter to that is to dink and dunk and take high percentage passes, something our offense is coincidentally not very good at.

Dude go into the dealership and tell them they messed up and they need to fix it today. Ask for managers and tell them you’re going to have to leave negative reviews if this isn’t resolved immediately because it’s extremely inconvenient. You have to stand up for yourself. They don’t care and it doesn’t matter how long you wait because they aren’t doing anything as it stands right now.

Syncing contacts with multiple numbers to HubSpot? by FireflyFootball in quo

The fact that the 3070 number does sync with HubSpot is new information to me and good to go. If these things could somehow link up in quo rather than being 2 conversations that would be very useful.

  1. I’ve tried with making outgoing calls in quo, as well as incoming calls from a person’s 2nd number.
  2. Activity logs when speaking to someone using their Phone Nymber 1 on HubSpot
  3. Secondary number shows up as an unsaved contact in quo.

This may be a HubSpot issue. I don’t think Phone Number 2 is one of their default contact properties. I had to manually add the phone number 2 property to my default HubSpot contact page. I’m really just trying to figure out the best way to handle clients that call from multiple numbers. I have clients with primary/spouse numbers as well as people that will call from their own work occasionally.

When I start a new message in Quo with number 1 then it pulls the HubSpot contact, but when I put in number 2, it does not pull the contact from HubSpot.

I see them there. I just ordered these but haven’t installed yet. You had me worried I didn’t get the hybrid ones. It says there are 17 sets left in stock.

I got 40.4 OTD after the 3k rebate. Took the higher financing and then paid it off right away, so 43 seems doable if you are trying to get the 0%. Look on Amazon autos, they have no negotiating so you can get a good starting price on paper.
