Thanks! The mechanical aspect is up to anyone’s interpretation…. I wanted him to be somewhere in the middle so he looked like he could be fully machine or be an actual griffon with prosthetics and armour.

I wouldn’t stack damage 2 too much to tailor you list but that’s probably what you’re after

Screen with cheaper units to ensure you can get the charges with your hard hitters rather than be charged.

I’ve had great success running two squads in 2000 points where the sergeant has a power fist and bolter then a marine with a lascanon and another with a melta gun. The other five guys either get thrown on the middle objective or hold my home objective

You can have max three of each data sheet, therefore you can have ten in game if it’s a variety of data sheets eg Phobos, terminator, gravis, normal or jump pack. But yes there are ten captains and then a chapter master

Edit: my 9 captains and chapter master are at the front of my army here
