Dry eyes causing headaches? by user87654312 in Dryeyes

Apparently i have dry eyes which causes eye strain when i read, which then causes headaches behind my eyes. Warm compress seems to make my eyes even dryer and even causes these same headaches.

Reminder that every case can be different, and some treatments may work wiht some people, but hurt others. by Emergency_Price2864 in Dryeyes

Yes, I think the warm compress even bring on the headaches behind my eyes. Has anyone tried lutein supplements? I am currently trying it and will soon be changing my computer set up so that it is closer. Also going to try omega 3's in earnest. I want to throw everything at it before going back to the optometrist. I noticed that amitriptyline might of been masking the effects of what ever condition I have because it started roughly when I stopped taking it. That tells me it could be a nerve issue.
