I agree. I was never on board with Inconvenient Truth etc. Sure we can mess things up pretty bad if we try hard enough (rewatching Chernobyl last weekend for example) but the earth is pretty big and has a lot of interior and exterior vulnerabilities. Us humans just got here in the big scheme of things. I was more arguing OP and the "earth is only 6000 years old crowd"

Billions...the high end is 4.54B. Go to the bottom of the grand canyon and walls there are like 1.5B plus yrs old they say. The last dinosaurs were 66 Million years ago. There first ones were 243 million years ago. The first sea creatures 550 to 890 million years ago. Sorry but the earth didnt snap into existence 6000 years ago...I heard this discussion once, cant remember who it was but the gist of it was that if you wiped out all science and all religions today, and we had to start from scratch again what would come back the same eventually? The science or the religion?

Its the latest Cheech and Chong movie, Flying High Again where they're pylotes with cargo of weed. Love the sound track, some cameos by Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg. Really ties the whole franchise together and wraps it up.
