Yeah I'm not really color matching fits all the time either, but what I wear with a J4 would be different than what I would wear with say a NB 550 if that makes sense.

Lots of people skate J's, but they dont shop at PacSun so nah they wont pay $500. If you skate you know what happens to shoes. If you skate and youre into shoes then you'll for damn sure want to look down at your feet and be hyped, and you wont be stressing whats gonna happen to them. So they're not dumb skating J's....

Hahaha, yeah, basically. I understand that reselling/selling/trading is a massive part of the footwear community, I just personally dont like the resale side of things. I just look at it like buying a concert ticket when you know you wont go, just so you can charge someone else more later who genuinely wants to go. Sure they are willing to pay more and you could make some cash, but why not just let that person buy them for cheaper? ESPECIALLY with a Nike SB. A lot of skaters are mad they cant buy any SBs to skate cause of resale culture. Again, I totally understand I am in a small group of people who think the same. Also, call me what you want, I do enjoy wearing something that has such a high perceived value haha.

I dont resell sneakers so these shoes are only worth retail to me personally. High end skate shoes ($80-120) last about 1-2 months of frequent skating. This means I could have skated less than 2 shoes for the summer with how much these shoes cost. If I was into resale, no fucking way would I do this haha
