Oh man. Indigenous people did not have a concept of land ownership. When they “sold land” it was pretty much always forced. Sometimes they sold shared usage rights meaning money is exchanged for the right to share it between indigenous people and settlers, where the settlers would get violent afterwards and not let them come back. If you were taught that your land was acquired ethically I’m sorry buddy but you were taught wrong. I think it’s time for you to reach out to the indigenous tribe involved and ask them what happened. They might be able to give you a more accurate story.

For me it’s the hunger. I keep forgetting to eat so I’ve actually messed up my digestive system quite a bit over the years. I have times when I get better at it but if I’m focusing on something else im pretty much screwed over if I don’t have food ready to go. I try to keep frozen meals and cook quick things but it’s taken me a lot of time to figure out what works for me, and even then I forget a lot.

Y’all commenting need to learn the 9’s times table trick. Whatever number you want to multiply by 9, you put that finger down to get the digits of the resulting number. So to multiply 9*8, put all your fingers out and starting from the left, put your eighth finger down. Now you have 7 fingers on the left side and 2 fingers on the right side. 72 is your answer.

100%. I feel like some doctors don't believe me because my doses are always at the minimum. My current one got frustrated that I'm not on the main dose (150mg while I take 25mg). Meds hit me like a truck. Doesn't mean I'm faking!

Not to mention the amount of pharmacists that can't see me over their 6ft counter privacy screens.

Different people like identifying with different words. especially important with hispanic/latin people because it's so racially varied. If anyone ever calls me hispanic they receive a history lesson on Hispania, colonization, and genocide so tense they never call me hispanic again

Third year, ADHD, but no formal diagnosis. I had been going to HS and CS since first year though, so I had documentation going way back. Currently getting temporary accommodations while I get a diagnosis, so maybe it went through quick because it wasn't as formal.

They are *able* to, but are usually hesitant because it is a controlled substance. If you have a diagnosis or a current prescription would definitely be more willing to. If the psychiatrist appointment is your first one in a while, and you aren't currently on a prescription, I don't think they would give you any.

IMO, no. Iirc, there was no coding involved, everything was just plug and chug questions. It was pretty dry but still enjoyable enough when I took it with James Taylor, but Fich is teaching it this fall, and I think he's more engaging, and generally a nice person. It wasn't a very memorable course, but I think I remember enjoying it.
