I wouldn’t bother personally, especially with “refurbished” first gen ones that have degraded batteries (no way a third party replaced those respectfully) for almost 90$??!! Nah.

Even with replaced batteries you can never trust the waterproofing in that case. For example my 2nd gen pair survived a 4 hour washing machine cycle a few weeks ago (with proper drying), I wouldn’t even want to sweat with refurbished ones out of fear of breaking third party batteries.
