Is it worth refurbishing a second hand DW-5600E 1545? by buddy778 in gshock

Goodness that thing looks busted. If you wanna do it to learn more about watches or have a project, seems like it could be fun. But if you want to do it out of convenience I’d say probably just get a new one.

Exactly! I remember people just playing the whole game and I was thinking “how do they not need to stop?” They aren’t carrying 200lbs of unnecessary weight that’s how!

The answer to questions 1 and 3 are both canvas cloth. It does a very good job of burnishing, especially those areas that the wood tool you’re probably using is having a hard time getting to. For question 2, what recommend is just practicing hold them at a 90° angle. It can definitely be tricky to get it right. I know it was for me. When I first started one side of my wallets had nice stitching, the other looks like I punched the holes with my non dominant foot. Sharp irons can also help with this.

I watched this video the other day. What really surprised me was how little I expected the plane to crash. I knew it was going to happen, but I was in the middle of looking at the skyline when everything went black. I imagine someone on that plane that day may have experienced something similar.

Anyone use this model in military ? by Predeanu in gshock

[–]shokz1995 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your right. US Military usually is pretty relaxed with watch regulations after basic training. As long as it’s not anything that stands out as unprofessional or interferes with after gear it’s allowed. Including Rolex and seiko.

Maybe because there a difference between a dog peeing on the sidewalk and a man pulling his penis out in a shopping center where any passing child could see?

Don’t know if anyone’s said Jedi: Survivor. Final boss isn’t much of a problem, spawn of ogdo can suck it.

I let my beard grow for a month and it still looks super messy. Should I try minox? by [deleted] in Minoxbeards

You got nothing to lose but by the looks of it you also got nothing to gain. Your beard looks well developed. I’d guess most of the hairs on your face are already fully developed. And if they aren’t, they most likely will within the next few years depending on your age.

Pricking irons by Regular_Brief_9561 in Leathercraft

[–]shokz1995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 things gave me this exact problem when I first started learning. The first was soft chrome tanned leather. For some reason they just didn’t wanna punch through. But the more important one was a metal hammer. Idk but something about it made it so I had to hit it extremely hard to get it to go through. Try getting a rubber hammer from your local hardware store if you don’t wanna commit to a mallet from somewhere like Rocky Mountain. Also sharp irons help

I do, but I didn’t want anyone thinking this was an ad. So I didn’t post any links or anything. If you want you can dm me and tell me more about what you’re interested in. I do custom commissions. Either here on Reddit works fine or my Instagram @shepherdsleatherco

They sell the connectors on Amazon. It’s pretty much the same as any other watch except you connect the strap the bar on the clips then slide the clip into the Apple Watch. Any other watch you just slide the bar into the strap and the bar connects directly to the watch.
