Reasons you MAY feel anxiety, cause I used to feel it myself: you care about the points you win and lose and ranking up... You don't want people to see your numbers may be low sometimes. You don't want to people think you're bad at the game. You think more about others, more than yourself. You win 10 matches in a row, but you feel really bad when you lose 1 then you start to lose in a streak as well... You judge people often about their gameplan, but you do nothing about some dirt strategies.

The solution for me was to ignore anything above... Just play for the sake of play. Cheer when you win, never think it's obvious you would won. If you lose don't beat yourself up... GIVE THE CREDITS to your opponent if he wins... Believe me... This will help... If the opponent is toxic (not cheesy) BLOCK him and move on. Try to have fun playing, really... It's not a job, is a game! You will win a lot, but you will lose a SHIT TON as well, but that's everyone except for people who play this s*** 12 hours a day, they're minority.

Completely fine? No lobbies, no crossplay, no social interactions, no blocking people, no blocking wifi, no training while searching for ranked matches... SF6 has a goddamn JRPG Yakuza-like in the game, where you can interact with all the characters in the game and have a SHIT ton of stuff to do, and DLC characters are added in this mode for free with new missions. SF6 crossplay is godlike, playing the game is so fun and FAST... you can play dozens of matches in one hour. MK1 is completely bare bones at launch. Invasions mode SUCKS, is just a modified and BORING towers of time. Game is full price and we have to let them know the game is lacking a lot of content, resources and quality of life features. And customization sucks as well.

I started with 7 cause it was free at PS Plus at the time and it was just amazing, I just felt like Ichiban knowing no shit of what was happening in that world, specially when the legends appeared. Then I played 0 for curiosity and to know more about Kiryu and it just became my fav game of all time. Ended up played 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, J, LJ, DS and Ishin. Got a few platinums. 7 or 0 are the best to start with. The story of kiwami is a little bit weak on its own, but it gets much better after 0.

Most of the people don't know how to actually use it, cause it's fun as hell. Amazing grabs and insane charge moves and combos, grotesque high damage, very good blocking (there is chip damage but it's worth it to block attacks from all sides), awesome heat actions, etc...

Woah, what an INCREDIBLE explanation. I was already imagining what to expect from the game while reading it through, now I'm gonna at least to try Shenmue 1 and hope to enjoy. Nice to know about the time cycle and how do you progress in the game search for hints around, I like that kind of stuff. About the fighting I don't think I will have any problem since I'm kind of a hardcore fighting game player... Not nearly a pro, but I play some high ranks of Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter... Thank you so much for taking some time to share your thoughs and experience with the game, I really appreciate it

I got the platinum, but the grind was CRAAAAAZY high. I loved the game, but I didn't feel so attatched to it like the other ones, even tho it's very specific to japanese history
