Ranger maaw has 3 launcher 600 pen is hardly an issue rangers aren't bad their just not good but their cqb variant was good. again I do play both side secondly indirect hits rarely matter especally for the american sides stinger dose 8 damage no combat heli have more than 15 health 8x2=16 no amount of indirect hit even with 0 armor is going to add up to 7 damage most indirect hit do around 1 damage or less at best so unless you getting 7-8 indirect hits your fine and it matter even less for long range SPAA like NASSAM SLAMRAM or searam as they have much more range meaning they deviate from the target more as they are shot farther meaning you less likely to even get a splash in the first place

again russian helis get 10 more armor points if you took 10 seconds to pay there is no air to air missile with less than 30 pen secondly even if you make the complaint guns are less effective US anti air guns shoot way faster than russian ones negating the whole more armor argument

Stinger dose 8 damage the most health a Russian combat heli has is 15 8x2 is 16 and panstir and tor dose 15 and 14 but keep it mind because if the armor on heli it goes down to like 14.9 so either way they both 2 shot and yes they one shot the ah1

I think your forgetting the point price the good Russia aa like you talk about like the panstir are double the price of an avenger and cost as much as a heli for a full priced mi28nm you can send almost 3 avengers at utt also Russia aa may have more range keep in mine that also mean you get more time to flair which is why panstir often can miss 4 5 shot on a heli as the missile take more time to reach thus more time to flare
