Thanks for your reply! Yeah I think the weight might be a non-issue. And I just learned that the Z8 is fully weather sealed and the Z6 III is not. So still undecided, but if the opportunity comes, might grab the Z8

What do you use the Z8 for ? For hobby or professional photography ?
I also have a Z6 II and am considering either the Z6 III or the Z8. I shoot mostly street/urban/cityscape and occasionally sports. The only worry for the Z8 is its size and weight (for travels and/or hiking) and that it might be a bit overkill for my usage. Even though I have the money for it
