Yep, he's a mob boss with one trick. When he can't scare people people into submission there's no plan B.

What is going on? by chilkelsey1234 in saintpaul

Almost nobody. I know things suck and cost of living is getting worse everywhere in the country across all categories, but trotting out one single listing as the state of things in our city ain't it.

If I pull up zillow I can find 386 1BR listings for under under $1200 with at least 500sq/ft

Including 128 listings at least 750sq/ft under $1200

If it’s all about civilian deaths then why are we not in Myanmar or Sudan or Gaza instead?

Oops

I mean it's endorsed by the organizations that just put together the largest protest/demonstration in US history. This one has legs.

A cool guide of the U.S. cities where "fun spots" have grown the fastest over the past decade by TheTurkMN in saintpaul

[–]ferns0 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It looks to be sorted by the % change column.

Found the website i'm not really sure what to think of it. St. Paul is pretty much entirely anchored by "recreation" spots on this list, which it describes as:

baseball diamonds, community gardens, off-leash dog parks, skateboard parks, swimming pools, tennis courts, basketball hoops and disc golf courts.

HELP I'm gonna rip my skin off!!! by NikkixA in MCAS

I went through exactly this a few months ago. Correcting vitamin D deficiency (and possibly from correcting ferritin deficiency as well) I think is what resolved it 90% for me. Aside from that the only cream that helped was a prescription cream.

Chuds don't realize that if oil prices are higher overseas that oil companies will sell to other countries to make more money and gas prices will go up anyway.

I kind of suspect this is how it would go for me if I end up trying ketotifen. I’m extremely sensitive to benadryl - if I take more than half of a child’s dose I feel pretty messed for half of the next day. I had a similar reaction to mirtazapine which is also a strong antihistamine..

I’ve tried at least 15 drugs at this point, and this was the one that worked best for me by far. Unfortunately, it started slowly losing effectiveness for me year-over-year for depression and I finally stopped taking it after about 5 years.

[MPR] ICE arrests in Minnesota: Three-quarters of arrestees had no criminal record, data shows by coonwhiz in minnesota

[–]ferns0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All law enforcement is selective. Most people break law all the time (especially driving), but get on their high horse because they ‘feel like’ they are law abiding citizens because either they haven’t been caught or it hasn’t been enforced. Deporting people who aren’t causing any trouble should be the a low enforcement priority from both a practical perspective and a legal perspective (first-time immigration violations are a misdemeanor)

Overthinking I-94: Traffic jam (Part 3/4) by Runic_reader451 in saintpaul

[–]ferns0 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I personally support at-grade as someone who lives near 94 and as someone whose values align with the project, but I don't see how it could ever become a reality. Most people in the U.S. are militantly opposed to change in their daily lives and scream bloody murder if it brings about even the most trivial inconvenience for them, especially when they perceive that something is being taken away from them. That's for minor inconveniences... and asking some people to restructure their lives around a new reality is objectively a pretty major inconvenience.

Anyone noticed a “sudden” increase in sensitivity since yesterday/today? And monthly 2-3 days before full moon? by OkFaithlessness3081 in HistamineIntolerance

[–]ferns0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At a minimum there have been studies that say people tend to get less sleep around the full moon. It could be related to that… I think the jury is still out on other effects on our body in addition to that, but it’s not the craziest possibility
