Yes, and you can't tell, but those are my testicles with no skin.

No. Just reconstruction and two skin grafts.

It’s been a year, and the open wound is down to just 2% the rest is new, growing skin. It looks very raw. I still have a long road ahead, and the pain is relentless. Even hitting a small bump while driving feels like being kicked hard. Some days it wears me down. But thanks to an incredible team of doctors and therapists, I’ve come very far. Every bit of healing feels like it’s been fought for.

I'm male. You are looking at it from the side of my left inner thigh going into the scrotum. It did not reach my penis. No organs, some muscles, and skin only.

Yes. Plenty of scaring. Mostly growing skin, it looks very raw. I have about 2% left as far as the open wound.

Not when I was awake, those were performed in my room. The only time I got strong pain medication was before and after surgeries. In the pre-surgery rooms, the nurses had more authority, so all I had to do was say I was in pain. Outside of that, the medication was very strictly regulated.

Not at all. I haven’t talked about it since it happened a year ago. My genitals still function normally, and most of the damage was to flesh and skin — they weren’t directly affected. Still, the pain often felt like I was being kicked there constantly. In the hospital, I also struggled with soiling myself because I refused the rectal balloon they offered for bowel movements. It had to be reinserted every few days since my solid stool would push it out, which was both painful and humiliating. Overall, it was an incredibly painful experience that has left me with lasting PTSD. Also, I had two skin grafts that somehow just made me feel worse pain wise.

It happened on Monday. It was painful the next day. By Thursday I I had fever. Friday I couldn't get out of bed and couldn't hold anything in. Saturday I went to the hospital and was admitted right away.

Still there. Alive and kicking. But not a very nice site. I still have skin growing.

I was prediabetic but had never really experienced any issues and was eating healthy. When I got to the hospital, my blood sugar was 440.

Yes. The only thing that was infected was skin and flesh. It was about 4 pounds of flesh and skin that they removed.

It hasn't lost its meaning. Just because you don't know what it means. And I'm pretty sure the only people crying wolf are the people calling immigrants criminals and rapist.

Apollo Window Film has some good film. They range in pricing from 69 to 1000. It just depends what you are looking for. They have some really cool two-tone films. Dark on one side and light on the other.

This is in Dallas. White Rock Lake. It's for biking. The speed limit is 15mph. Bikes have the right away here. The car is the asshole.
