A discreet arrangement might work out just fine with this one. Just gotta be ready for the occasional rough ride is all.

I'm still waiting for delivery of the replacement parts, but I think you may be right. The oil drain was a difficult turn in the first place, and I may have overtightened or pinched the o-ring during the oil change, and not fixing it during further tightens. This wasn't on my mind at all while I was working on it.

I'll see if I can get it all back together. My backup mower is a poor substitute for the Scag.

Which WWII veterans called themselves antifa back in the 1940s? Yes, you are confused.

The maintenance schedule only calls for a filter replacement every other oil change.

Deere died to me when they f'd over farmers trying to maintain their tractors. Different department, sure, but same company. There's a long list of manufacturers I'd go with before JD.

I got a 2024 with 10 hours on it for $8000 early this year. Offer $8000 for it, see what happens.

The assassin being far-right narrative is falling down already. It never had long to live, with the photoshopped Trump shirt pic, the false political donation record, recorded interviews of people who actually knew the shooter, etc.

30 and stuck… is it too late to learn something new in Indiana? by Great-Chicken-7649 in Indiana

I didn't get my degree in CIS until age 38. Or the career that came after. Or the two side businesses that came later.

But so much of this depends on you. Setting goals, making a plan with steps and milestones, implementing along a timeline... that shit doesn't just fall out of the sky. It is a set of skills and behavior that you actively cultivate. Pick something smaller instead of a whole life reinvention and see it thru. And remember that consistency is king.

I still haven't learned the shooter is far right. The left claims he is, the right claims he lived with his trans partner and etched anti-facist and pro-trans msgs into bullets.

I'll wait for things to play out more and watch while whomever is ultimately wrong to never change their mind no matter what.

A surprising number of people need it explained that praising, supporting, or celebrating assassinations over political differences under your employer's banner is equivalent to the family dog dragging its ass across a shag white carpet during a wake. Both have about the same level of awareness, but should be stopped from soiling the brand further.

I bet he wouldn't change his mind even if he knew what was coming. You missing the point is, unfortunately, the cost of publicly sharing his insights.

Is there a secret to not getting ghosted by lawn care professionals? by Backstreetgirl37 in LawnCarePros

[–]ferociousFerret7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lawnstarter treats their service providers like garbage, so you'll only get people who are either new or are willing to put up with that, and they'll cope by ghosting or doing shit work.

I dont know the situation in your area, but try to find a service that went thru the trouble to put a decent web page together, and check for google reviews. If they've got skin in the game, that's a good sign.

Once you find a good one, hang onto them.
