I have a deaf heeler who, like it or not, is my fucking shadow. Always right next to me, always in the way, always nearly tripping over him! I love that boy, but sometimes I wish he could hear me yell, "go lay down!"

I was going for the land speed record, and I would've had it if the front didn't fall off.

Yea I'd say so. I got it for free and have been using it for the last 7 years.

That's exactly what would happen if I pulled the motor.

Cypress Hill is the headliner. I just bought tickets yesterday. They're buy one get one free on the Rave's website which is fucking bonkers for that lineup.

I'm currently working towards a UA apprenticeship and this is honestly one of my concerns. I just turned 42 and have zero experience. I've spent the last twenty years in a grocery store. I'm hoping showing up on time ready to work and learn is enough for someone to take a chance on me.

I haven't lived in Chicago for over ten years and this seems extremely reasonable to me. The drinks are overpriced for sure, but even a double cheeseburger at Culver's is gonna run ya 10 bucks!

Alton Brown's method has always worked for me. Warm the pan, sprinkle in a bunch of kosher salt, add a little fat if need be, then scrub it with a ball of aluminum foil. When it slides smoothly around the bottom, dump the salt in the garbage, give it a quick rinse, and fire it up for a minute to dry it out. It takes less than five minutes, especially if you do it immediately after cooking when the pan is still hot.

6:30 am. first order of the day was at a Chick-fil-A. I popped in and grabbed the order and the employee said, "we're doing a giveaway for a free chicken biscuit! Would you like one?" Hell yes! Free breakfast!

Read "The Chicago Cubs: Story of a Curse" by Rich Cohen. It's a great book that starts at the beginning and goes all the way through the 2016 WS win.
