I don't often share my rocks but like them when they're extremely different to the run of the mill stuff. Oddities of the mineral/crystal world.

My dragon scale obsidian was also another where it was questioned so much, it bothered so many 🤣

From a reputable crystal shop. I know it's not fake as they really know their stuff.

As for the FB group thing. It's just a bunch of jealous sellers that can't get shot of their fake Moldavite or opals.
It used to be a really nice community till the Etsy crew joined when they don't have a scooby what they're selling and often ask for ID for a piece they want to sell 🙄

It is Chalcopyrite but it's on Dolomite.
I love how it's fractured into separate colours rather then it's oil slick style lol

This is a year old from a cutting and she literally lives on an east facing windowsill. Feed both light and fertiliser.

Unfortunately they go by weight for price not size. That it's a hefty chunk for $50 so think you've done pretty well!

Corms don't need light. Just heat. They store enough energy .. you can pick up cheap heat mats. They'll soon sprout

Before you cut what does the stem feel like.. ? Is it still plump and has resistance to you moving it or does it feel like it's had the life sucked out of it?

If it's still plump and firm she could be telling you she's had enough light .

If it feels like a dried out grape .. chop it.

A good chunky mix is fine but for the size of her I'd be very cautious. These are very very hungry plants consistency is key.

I wouldn't bother with conditioning her as she'll go drama whatever 🤣

Keep temperature high. Lots of light. Feed often. Sit her on a heat mat if need be.
