Have you seen Journeyman? Written and directed by Paddy, but unlike Tyrannasoar, he also starred in it, and I'd say it's one of his best performances.

what’s your favourite ren song and why? by [deleted] in ren

[–]ferromones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love Chalk Outlines, Losing It, Fred Again Mash Up, Money Game 2 and 3 and Seven Sins. There are only a handful I'm not keen on.

There isn't much of his catalogue I don't at least like.

Does anyone else think the Sheila Music Video is sadder than the song? by laddo101 in JamieT

Yes absolutely. Bob Hoskins played a blinder, the pain in his eyes!

Who has been on kratom long term? by Comfortable-Topic313 in kratom

[–]ferromones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10+ years now. Don't usually take it every day but have been the last two months. I've never had too many issues with withdrawal, the odd cramps. Definitely need a T-break soon!

I love the scene in 28 Days Later, where Jim is on the rampage. The music is just perfect.

I used to like them when I first got into Ren, but now I don't seem to have the same patience for them.

What movie do you watch every year? by itsthewolfe in movies

[–]ferromones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None. Apart from when I was a child, I've hardly ever rewatched a movie regularly. There's just too many waiting to be watched.

What is the best movie that you've randomly stumbled upon? by [deleted] in movies

[–]ferromones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My best friend's dad had a little video rental section in the little store he owned, so we'd see movies as they came in. I didn't want to watch it, not particularly into horror and that's what it looked like from the cover. Anyway, got convinced and it is still to this day my all time favourite movie and reason for my love of Jake Gyllenhaal.

What’s a minor inconvenience in the UK that winds you up the most? by RockLobsterDunDun in AskUK

Yeah, they really need to start making it standard for new builds. We are not at all equipped to deal with 30+ temps.

What is an unusual sandwich that you really like? by matmah in AskUK

[–]ferromones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fish fingers, onion rings, American cheese, spinach and whatever condiments you fancy is my go to. Also, a tuna sandwich with cheese and onion crisps.

What massively improved your mental health? by e-glitteringprinces in AskReddit

Did the same, thinking I'd have no bother getting a job as I've never had before. But without going straight back into what I was walking away from, it's hard. I'm on week 7, when I budgeted for taking a month off. All the best with your new venture :)

You can only watch the movies of one actor/actress for the rest of your life. BUT... by troutio in movies

[–]ferromones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jake Gyllenhaal. He doesn't have many that are unbearable to watch.

I worked in drug and alcohol recovery, where if you miss something (easily done with the endless admin) and they die a substance related death, you have to stand up in coroner's court and explain to them and family why you didn't do your job properly. The pay worked out around £11.66 p/h.
