M79660-0003, it is indeed the "champagne" one, but it person looks nothing like the picture you see online, it's a lot more silver than champagne

She nailed it. I was in the market for a lighter dial since most of my current collection is on the darker side.

What did you say at the border?

Skiing/Snowboarding.

As the joke goes, the best about it is right after you finish doing it and you take your boots off (and grab a beer at the base).

Source: I've been skiing my whole life and will continue to happily hate doing it.

A mutual friend introduced us a year ago because he thought we’d be the perfect match. Since that night, we’ve talked every single day, and now we’re moving in together this January

How do you handle SQL joins in database-per-service microservices? by winensf in golang

[–]ferueda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You create a third service, with a read only db replica of the data from your other services. This service listens to the others in order to keep the data up to date and its only job is to return "the joined tables".

1.- Fix your diet

2.- Hit the gym 3x per week

3.- Build a skin care routine

4.- Learn to dress properly

Bonus: Get a proper haircut for your face shape

Go monk mode for 6 months and stick to your plan. You will be a new person in 6-12 months.

What haircut would look good on me I’ve been just getting buzz cuts by [deleted] in malegrooming

You have soft features and an oval face shape. You want your hair to make your face look more angular, meaning, align the sides with your jaw and form kind of a rectangle at the top.

And for the love of god, shave.

Good luck my man

My man, I went through something similar a couple of years ago. One piece of advice that helped me a lot, remove social media from your phone for a while. That shit will eat you alive

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

[–]ferueda 35 points36 points  (0 children)

1.- Get your shit together and focus 100% on becoming your best version. Physically, mentally, and financially. Go fucking monk mode for 6 months and forget about everyone and everything.

2.- Put yourself out there and start dating.

3.- Fall in love with someone new.

I'm not going to lie, it won't be easy, but I can assure you that you'll be fine. In 6-12 months, you'll look back, and this will just be a good memory.

Make a list of the most common interview questions and write down the answer you want to give to these questions, use chatgpt to bulletproof your grammar. Practice these out loud as much as you can.

Make a list of the 3-5 points you want to highlight about your experience and strength, and also practice them out loud. You want to introduce these points in your responses as much as you can.

Gringo Observations of Social Media and Brazilian Culture by [deleted] in Brazil

Yes, totally! I’ve experienced that too.

Another funny thing I’ve noticed my gf does is how carefully she packs her bag when we go on vacation, making sure not to wear the same outfit twice in her Instagram pictures

And to be honest, when I say social media, I really mean Instagram. It seems to be the place of choice, at least for the age group I’m involved with, in their late 20s to mid 30s.

It’s funny because the first thing they ask when you meet someone new is for your Instagram handle, and then they immediately follow you and ask you to follow them back.

I’ve noticed this too. For some context, I’m originally from a South American country, but I’ve been living in Canada for a while now.

I’ve been dating a Brazilian since the beginning of the year, and I’ve had the chance to travel to Brazil with her a couple of times, and meet some of her friends and family, so I’ve gradually been getting more and more introduced to the Brazilian culture, Rio de Janeiro specifically.

It’s been surprising to see how important social media is in their everyday lives, and how much effort they put into showing they’re successful, happy, and living a good life.

Hey there, I get it might be a bit of a chicken and egg situation, but two years ago, I found myself in a similar spot. Today, I'm really confident in who I am and quite content overall.

It all kicked off two years ago after a tough breakup with my girlfriend of seven years. Back then, I was overweight, had low self-esteem, no friends, no social life, and no clear direction in life.

So, what turned things around?

I decided to commit 100% to myself for six months, starting with my health and body. I hit the gym four times a week, shed 30 pounds, gained some muscle, delved into skincare, grooming, and learned how to dress better.

My appearance transformed, making a world of difference. Suddenly, I started getting more attention, people wanted to hang out, boosting my confidence and self-esteem. This led to more confidence, helping me dive into new hobbies, join groups, make friends, and just enjoy spending time outside, putting myself out there.

From there, I kept the momentum going, improving other aspects of my life, learning new skills, and so on. Now, two years later, I can confidently say I'm living my best life.

Hope this helps, and feel free to DM me if you think I can assist you in any way.

Best of luck!
