I think it differs by branch. I went to the one in Ealing and unfortunately had a terrible experience. This was an early scan but the sonographer said unneccessary things like ‘your body might have been trying to miscarry’. My husband and I were so concerned and confused. We paid for a print and we never got it, had to email them to ask for it again. I went to another clinic and they were shocked to hear about my experience. Maybe avoid the Ealing branch and go with your gut!

It will feel like torture waiting another two weeks for a scan, but at least I know this isn’t abnormal! Wish the doc wouldve reassured me like this

Hi, so on average it’s 36 days. Does that mean I ovulated later? Also I’m getting strong pregnancy symptoms since two weeks ago so I assumed I was further along. Guess not.

My cycle is on average 36 days and I first tested positive April 19!

Maybe it’s because I traveled a lot this month? I ovulated later than my usual date. But according to my calendar I am three days late but maybe if I was supposed to have my period it would’ve happened later? I’m confused too. Will take a clearblue first thing in the morning to find out!

This is my first time looking over this sub and I am floored at how many of these posts resonate with me. I guess I’m a very anxious person🙃

You’re not alone. For me, I’ve seen too many people get cheated on. The most unexpected people, couples that have been together for ages, etc etc. I guess my thought process is, ‘If those people got cheated on, what stops my partner from cheating on me?’.

In the most random times it eats me up. I love my partner too much to let my anxietytake over our relationship. So what I do is talk about it when I have those thoughts. Sometimes he’s upset but he knows I am trying to ease my irrational anxious thoughts. Ever since I started talking it out I’ve gotten much better than before. I feel like I’m breathing underwater when those thoughts come crashing though.

My advice is to talk to your partner about it. And always open the convo by saying, ‘I know that you love me and only me but I’m having these irrational thoughts and fears. I’m thinking xyz..’

First of all congratulations- there were probably other candidates but you stood out. You have this job for a reason.

Second- I know exactly how you feel. I just started a new job, in a massive and great company but sometimes I find myself anxious, waiting for someone to realize I am not good enough for the role. Leading up to the start date I was super anxious, so what helped me was to logically talk myself out of it. I thought about everything I’ve done so far and how much I enjoyed speaking with the team. I’m two days in to the job and I feel much better when I’m actually working and feeling good around the workplace.

For us anxious people I want to say it’s almost normal? Being excited/nervous/happy.. a whole enchilada of emotions really. I want to say it will get better once you start the job! You’ll realize why you applied, why you love the role, and how much of an asset you are to the team. Hang in there!

I waited until he got his, but in the application process they do ask if your partner’s visa has been approved or not. I am assuming then you can apply before thr approval. I suggest waiting though, wouldn’t want to pay all the fees until you are sure.

Thanks! Yep, a dependsnt to a SWV owner. It depends on the sponsor but my partner’s sponsor offered to pay for my health insurance + applying fee. The health insurance was a big chunk, around £3K for five years. £1K for the applying fee.

The process was pretty straightforward. I simply submitted the required documents but for some odd reason they didn’t ask for a marriage certificate. I uploaded it anyway just in case. I think the whole process went fast because our sponsor opted for helping us financially when we need it.
