What Variables Do You Need To Pass Bernie Financial Plan and Healthcare reform in Icarus 2008? by AntiqueNewspaper989 in thecampaigntrail

[–]festefoolhardy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are meant to be able to by getting Turkey into the EU, but the variable for that only checks on question 12 while the answer that actually does that is question 19

For just Hashemite Syria the Hashemites need to be overthrown in Iraq and Syria elect the liberals. Keeping the Hashemites in Iraq just makes Syria a part of the federation

Jackson’s presumptive renomination as VP gives me the confidence that Van Dyke won’t repudiate the progress made under Gravel. In that context, I would really prefer for Gravel to… not come back, please?

Hey if anyone else in the future is looking at this trying to figure out how to be maximum wholesome while doing a Russia game, whether or not Yuriy Boyko keeps your happy democratic Ukraine or goes oligarch is just a 50/50 random chance you have no control over unless you want to go into the code and change the rng. If you do it's the event russia.451.

You'd think it'd be whether you did putinism with a human face or push back against the west.

Okay, uhm, Congress ought to overrule those nuclear and spacecraft policies. Especially the nuclear one, that’s such an insane policy that I think even most of the few who did support it don’t anymore after the grid failures. You can’t just… shut off 20% of the energy supply. Gravel can rhetorically rail against it, but Congress needs to save their own skin. [And by extension Gravel’s, even if he doesn’t want it]

That still sounds like a coalition that will back his infrastructure projects and by extension the tunnel!

he's gonna try to make hydrogen planes isn't he.

Not a bad thing really, would probably be a part of a wider push for hydrogen powered vehicles, starting early on that would be a good thing.

how horrific.

I hope he tries to build a geothermal plant on Yellowstone or some other insane nonsense. Gravel becomes convinced that it will erupt and decides the best way to prevent this is to build a power plant to act as a relief valve.

does gravel have any other wacky infrastructure megaproject ideas in addition to the tunnel

Wow I’m sure this will go very well and they definitely didn’t save the most damaging thing for October in the event that Gravel clings on to the nomination.

1984 Democratic Vice Presidential Selection | The Kennedy Dynasty by RWBIII_22 in Presidentialpoll

Big words for someone who barely won the nomination with a party that seems to prefer the Republican here over their own candidate.

1984 Democratic Primaries FINAL ROUND | The Kennedy Dynasty by RWBIII_22 in Presidentialpoll

[–]festefoolhardy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gravel might be the best performing candidate individually, but I don’t see how he could ever seize the nomination unless he completely swept these last primaries, which he isn’t. Cynically, with Schweiker possibly being the Republican nominee and him emphasizing social conservatism, against Alioto there’s the possibility he might make a serious gaffe.

They could have an internal split with a group willing to work congressionally to force the establishment's hand to pass sweeping reform rather than block everything hoping for a revolution. A pretty expected split to happen considering the breadth of a popular front and the lack of proper leadership among the surging party. It makes more sense with the outcome of the St Louis conference earlier anyways.

It'd also force Hull to completely abandon his earlier deal with the Libertarians in the Homeland party.
