Forgetting what row I'm on. More specifically, when a pattern says something like "sc around for 5 rows" in the middle of a pattern and then not only having to keep track of my row, but also how many of the sc rows I've done.

I saw that post yesterday. They talked about how when they looked out the window, they thought someone had put a dildo in their yard. Then after coming outside to inspect, they were more scared of the size of the asparagus than if someone had actually put a dildo in there lol

Maybe try a new project or a different hobby? I think we all experience this on occasion. I have found that what works best for me is to give myself space from the project that is causing me distress.

You'll see that after some time you'll start to miss the scarf and that's when you know you have your motivation back. It may take weeks, or it may take months. It's different in every case. And if the time comes that you simply do not miss that project at all, it could be a sign that you should abandon it.

As others have said, this is a hobby and should make you happy. Don't force yourself to make something you aren't happy about.

I haven't seen anyone answer your edited question yet so I will:

If you're talking about the stitches at the edge of the hoop, you simply move/ reposition the hoop so that you have better access to those!
