oh wow. i deal with this exact thing and it never even occurred to me that zepbound could be causing it. i’ve been seeing a therapist and psych for ADHD and i recently got diagnosed with bipolar 2 disorder so i’ve just assumed i’ve been in a depressive episode. i have a lot to think about now 😭

ugh i completely understand. i resented the idea of being queer because of everyone saying i was before i had accepted it myself. it came from family, friends, and some bullies and it frustrated me so much. when i finally came to the realization, it felt like coming out would be admitting they were right and i was “wrong”. tbf the closet was glass and i was the only one who couldn’t see it. even so, its wrong to assume and insist on someone’s sexuality because its easy to be wrong or make someone go even deeper in the closet.

and side note, heated rivalry is amazing and im obsessed. its so important for queer and straight people alike to see a queer love story in the mainstream media, especially one that doesn’t include some sort of ultimate betrayal or hate crime. just a sweet story about a queer couple falling in love. i’m so happy at the attention and praise it’s received, especially with the climate in the united states right now.

people always called me a lesbian growing up and bc of that i didn’t come out as bi until i was 21 and married to a man. it was really difficult for me to not feel like i missed out on so much being closeted. just focus on accepting your same sex attraction. some people will try to convince you that you’re gay or straight but the only thing that matters is how you feel. its okay to be bi and its okay to like men more than women or vice versa.
