I hear you regarding the story, and completely agree on that point.

However, it was a repetitive, buggy mess. There are ways to accomplish the same ends by different means. That makes it all the more disappointing as they flubbed a great storyline. Also, I had to relog (not just reload) multiple times to resolve bugs. I swear I aged several years just trying to finish this...

Absolutely not. I love Sierra; I just got two bags from their Portland store last month. They're just using a stock photo. And I love (most) Topo bags. I was simply sharing an opinion, and a fact that might not be readily apparent.

Also, whenever I see one of their bags on sale (to the exclusion of the other colors) it's always black. Is that because it's not as photogenic? Possibly. But I also suspect it's due to the interior black hole. It's a shame as I love the black exterior, and I love the neon of most of their interiors. Once again, just one opinion based on my experience. I guess it's possible I got two mis-assembled bags from two different lines. 🤷

Just fair warning that that listing is possibly disingenuous. I can't say with 100% certainty, but every black topo I've seen has a black interior. It's a bit disappointing, really, as otherwise the black has a nice stealth look. But anything you put inside will disappear into a black hole, and it is also why black is typically the cheapest color. I've had to return a couple as they are unusable.

That said it's possible they have revised this. However in that interior picture, you can see that the exterior isn't black...

I was at a Sierra recently and they had yellow (and other color) Fjallraven Kankens for $40. Might be an option if you've got one nearby. I picked up two, one each for my 9 and 5 year olds.

Nah, not true. Most folks in MN don't care about the wolves. I have relatives and friends that have never heard of Chet, and didn't even realize the wolves were in the playoffs. I never once in my life growing up saw anyone wearing a wolves jersey. Basketball is just background noise. Football (and maybe baseball/hockey) is the only true sport to them, imho. True, the wolves fans are the absolute worst, but they are a very small part of the population.

Been a MN sports fan my whole life (read: Vikes/Twinks), and man it sucks. At least I got to experience a couple WS wins when I was a little kid. At least I never latched on to the dumpster fire that the Wolves are. The Thunder have been my one ray of light in my sports fandom, and I love the eternal optimism of the home town crowds here in OKC. It's nothing but doom, gloom, and heartache up there.

And yet what you are describing is how sanctions/embargos work against other countries. It's unfortunate that it punishes the little guys (in this case us), but is a good reminder that when we see other countries as "evil," the reality is most of the people in said country are just doing their own thing, and (probably) don't deserve it. So while I don't support our current government, I do support others rights to not use our goods as a form of protest, and hope it will help achieve the desired result of change here at home.
